Raipur : Labourers listen to Chief Minister on radio with enthusiasm

Labourers and daily-wagers visiting Chawdi, near Gandhi Maidan of capital city Raipur, eagerly wait for second Sunday every month for listening to 'Raman Ke Goth'. Today also labourers gathered at Chawdi to listen to the fifth episode of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh's monthly radio programme.

Chief Minister started his talk by greeting people of state a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Chief Minister wished people on Chherchhera Punni, Til Sankrant, Republic Day, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, and discussed about Aanganbadi Quality Improvement Campaign, Nation Youth Festival to be organized at Naya Raipur, facilities for farmers affected by scanty rainfall, and state government's efforts and initiatives to save women and children from malnutrition. Labourers at Chawdi namely Mr. Pancham Nishad from New Shanti Nagar Raipur, Mr. Omendra Sahu of Ramnagar Raipur, Mr. Raju Yadav of Lakhenagar Raipur, Mr. Satish Banjare of Datrenga, Mr. Shantrughn Banjare of Sankra, Mr. Ram Nishad of Patan, Mr. Ramesh Makode of Rawabhatha Raipur, Mr. Ameshwar of Daldal Sivni and others keenly listened to the programme. They were glad to hear Chief Minister talk in simple fluent Chhattisgarhi dialect.
