Raipur : Rajyotsav : PWD captures glimpses of the infrastructural development at its stall

Glimpses of the infrastructural development in Chhattisgarh has been effectively captured by PWD at its stall in the exhibition organized at Pt Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Capitol Complex in Naya Raipur, on the occasion of Rajyotsav. The stall beautifully exhibits the construction of wide long roads, bridges, buildings etc in state at an accelerated pace.
In Chhattisgarh, PWD has completed construction of 6461km in last four years. Besides, presently construction of four thousand 930 kms of roads is in progress. Likewise, 187 big bridges have been constructed and construction of 174 major bridges is in progress. In last four years, the department has also completed construction of four railway over bridge and railway under bridge. Currently, construction of eight railway over bridge and a flyover is also under construction. Similarly, joint district office building has also being construction by PWD in Jagdalpur, North Bastar (Kanker), Kondagaon, Sukma, Bemetara, Bilaspur, Mungeli, Dhamtari, Koriya and Balod. Besides, construction of 540 buildings of School Education Department, 71 buildings Higher Education Department, 130 buildings of Technical Education Department, 74 buildings of Tribal Caste Welfare Department, 32 building of Police Department, 40 buildings of Jail Department, 162 buildings of Health Department and other 323 buildings has also been completed.
