Raipur : Hamar Chhattisgarh Yojana : 567 Panch-Sarpanch of Bilaspur Division meet Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh

Panch Sarpanch of 50 Gram Panchayats in Bilaspur Division, who are on tour to capital city Raipur under Hamar Chhattisgarh Yojana, today met Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh at his residence. Dr Singh advised the panchayat representatives to utilize the experiences they had during Hamar Chhattisgarh tour in development of their village. The team on tour included 567 panchayat representatives from Bilaspur, Mungeli, and Janjgir-Champa.
In his address, Chief Minister Dr Singh informed panch-sarpanch in detail about the objectives of Hamar Chhattisgarh scheme. He told that panchayat representatives are being taken on tour to capital city Raipur so as to make them aware of the big development works under way in Chhattisgarh at an accelerated pace. Till date, nearly one lakh 40 thousand panchayat representatives have toured under Hamar Chhattisgarh scheme. President Mr. Ramnath Kovind had also praised this scheme, during his tour to Raipur on the occasion of Rajyotsav.
Chief Minister Dr Singh said that the chief objective this scheme is to create awareness among the panchayat representatives, so that they can feel inspired by their experiences during the tour, and utilize this experience for the all round development their villages. MLA of Sakti Vidhan Sabha constituency Dr. Khilawan Sahu also addressed the panchyat representatives in the meeting. On the occasion, panchayat representatives namely Mrs. Annapurna Suryavanshi, Mrs. Anit Rajput, Mrs. Bindeshwari Verma, Mr. Rajaram Patel, Mrs. Gayatri Bai, Mr. Deepak Thakur, and Mr. Ramlal Patel and others shared their experiences of the Raipur tour.
